Deine Aufgaben:

Als Technical Assistant (m/w/d) bist du Teil unseres Bioprocess Development Teams und spielst eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Entwicklung innovativer Zellkulturprozesse zur Herstellung von kultiviertem Fisch. Deine Aufgaben umfassen:

Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Unterstützung von Zellkulturexperimenten und Routinekulturen
Bedienung und Wartung von Bioprozessanlagen, einschließlich Schüttelkolben, Spinnerflaschen, Bioreaktoren (1–50 l)
Mitwirkung an Scale-up- und Produktionsprojekten für industrielle Anwendungen
Durchführung von Probenahmen und analytischen Messungen gemäß SOPs
Führen detaillierter Versuchs- und Inventardokumentation über unser elektronisches Laborjournal
Zusammenarbeit in interdisziplinären Teams mit Kollegen aus den Bereichen Medienentwicklung, Produktentwicklung, Qualität und Regulierung.

Dein Profil:

Abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Biologisch-technische/r Assistent/in, Biologielaborant/in, oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung mit einschlägiger Berufserfahrung
Praktische Erfahrung mit Bioreaktoren/Spinnerflaschen und (suspensionsbasierter) Zellkultur.
Detailorientiertes und präzises Arbeiten.
Freude an der Arbeit im Team und gute Kommunikationsfähigkeiten.
Analytisches Denken, Fähigkeiten zur Fehlerbehebung und lösungsorientiertes Arbeiten.
Leidenschaft für Nachhaltigkeit und die Zukunft der Ernährung.
Grundkenntnisse in Englisch, da unsere Arbeitssprache Englisch ist, aber viele von uns auch Deutsch verstehen.

What does the role entail?

As Technical Assistant (m/f/d) Bioprocessing you are part of our Bioprocess Development Team and play a crucial role in the development of innovative cell culture processes for the production of cultured fish. Your tasks include:

Preparation, execution and support of cell culture experiments and routine cultures
Operate and maintain bioprocessing equipment, including shake flasks, spinner flasks, bioreactors (1-50L)
Participation in Scale-up and production projects for industrial application
Conduct routine sampling and analytical measurements according to SOPs
Maintain detailed experiment and inventory records via our electronic lab notebook
Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams with colleagues from the areas of Media Development, Product Development, Quality and Regulatory.

What skills and experiences should you bring to the table?

Completed training as biological technical assistant (BTA or Biologielaborant) or a comparable education with relevant professional experience.
Hands-on experience with bioreactors/spinner flasks and (suspension-based) cell culture.
Detail-oriented, and precise way of working.
Enjoyment of working in a team and good communication skills.
Analytical mindset, troubleshooting skills and a solution-oriented way of working.
Passion for sustainability and the future of food.
Basic English skills, as our work language is English, but many of us also understand German

Starting date

1st of January 2026 (earlier possible) and is limited for one year (parental leave substitute)
